Fairsing

Premium Pinot Noir

Sustainably Nurtured

Fairsing Vineyard has a diverse ecosystem. Approximately 80 acres of the 170 acre site has been set aside for native forest. There are currently 30 acres of mature forest on the property and an additional 50 acres have recently been reforested with native trees and shrubs (15,500 conifers, 2,800 deciduous trees, and 5,700shrubs). There are three streams on the property that flow year-round. In addition, hawks diligently patrol the site for pests.

A cover croup will be maintained between the vine rows and in areas adjacent to the vineyard to encourage beneficial biological agents and promote micro-nutrients. A total green cover is maintained over the entire vineyard in the winter to minimize erosion.

The vineyard is a member of Oregon's Low Input Viticulture and Enology (LIVE) association, and we farm consistent with their guidelines.
